It’s great to see many husband and wife teams volunteering together. Today we would like to introduce to you another couple who is joining Operation Medical for the first time for our 2017 Valsad, India Mission Camp:

First time volunteers for Operation Medical, Katherine Barton, M.D., F.A.C.S. and her husband, Paul Carmichael, MD, have joined the team. Katherine is a Breast Surgeon with the Pinnacle Health Breast Care Center and Paul is a General Surgeon. This will be Katherine’s first mission trip. The couple resides in Mechanicsburg, PA. along with two daughters, Madeleine and Michelle. Katherine shared that this will be the longest she has ever been away from her two beautiful girls, ages 10 and 9, and she will miss them terribly! None the less, she is most excited that she and her husband are making the trip to provide care to people who desperately need it.
